Studio Wildcard has had a busy few days, first with its’ announcement that the company will be bringing Ark: Survival Evolved to mobile devices. As if that weren’t enough in terms of new ports for the game, a few days later the company has decided to let us know that the game will also be making its way to the Nintendo Switch.
The company announced the new port at the State of Unreal presentation that happened earlier today. The official arrival date wasn’t given, but we know the game will arrive sometime during fall 2018.
The Switch version has been promised the full package in regards to “content and features of the original game” according to the developers. This includes the “massive and mysterious ARK island, to the more than 100 prehistoric – and fantasy -inspired creatures such as the T-Rex”. This means that all lovers of the game won’t be missing out on any gameplay with the new port.
For those who want a quick peek on the game, check out the gameplay footage from today’s presentation:
Ark: Survival Evolved is already on the Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game seems to constantly make its way to new systems, much like Skyrim. So go give it a try already if you haven’t, if only to quench your curiosity.
