CD Projekt Red is teasing the populace with the fact that the our main man, Geralt of Rivia – star of The Witcher franchise – will be showing up again in the near future. Though it won’t be in another Witcher game but rather as a guest star of some sort in another.

The tease comes in from community lead Marcin Momot, who had posted about the possible crossover on his twitter. In typical teasing fashion, when questioned about what game or the tweet could be hinting at, Momot only answered with a thinking emoji – infuriating fans everywhere I am sure.

The most prevalent thought in the gaming community seems to be that Geralt will be showing up on the Soulcalibur 6 roster. As to the validity of that statement, no one can accurately guess as of yet. With Soulcalibur 6 coming out sometime in 2018 it will remain a mystery until the game drops, or until the developers over at Projket Red decide to give us more information. Though with Soulcalibur having played host to a variety of guests over the years, from Link to Darth Vader.
