Stardew Valley for The Nintendo Switch News Update
It was announced quite some time ago by the publishers over at Chucklefish that Stardew Valley would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. That said, we have yet to see the game make an appearance, and have heard nothing about the farming game until now.
In a recent post on its website, Chucklefish just wanted to remind us all that the game is still coming to the Nintendo Switch. The game is currently being tested, and an actual release date has yet to be announced. Chucklefish had this to say about their unannounced release date: “We generally don’t announce release dates until quite close to launch, when we are at least 95% certain that nothing will go terribly terribly wrong.” That said, we can only hope that the testing phase means that the game is very close to completion.
Multiplayer mode is also still in the works for Stardew Valley. In this mode players will be able to build three homes on their respective farms, which will allow you to house a friend. From there each player will be able to interact with your world in the exact same manner as you, mining, marrying, and fixing the farm. This will add a fun element to the game in my opinion, as playing alone is never as fun as playing with a friend.
Plus my farm will develop much quicker with a helping hand.
