Noita: Pixelated Adventure

Noita is an upcoming indie game that is being developed by the same people behind The Swapper, Crayon Physics Deluxe and Station Alpha, all of whom are coming together to create a studio called Nolla Games. The game is noteworthy because apparently every pixel in it is “physically simulated”, which means that the entire world will react to your actions.

Check out the trailer below to get a feel for what I mean:

In Noita players will be able to craft their own spells to help delve deeper into the games caverns. Beware though, dying is really easy, so tread cautiously – as it is permanent too. Each world you traverse should be unique according to Nolla, as it is procedurally generated each playthrough.

The game looks fun, though as of yet the release date is still unknown. Stay tuned for more information on the indie game.
