Fate/Extella Coming To PC and Switch
The action game Fate/Extella, based off the popular anime show Fate/Stay Night, is coming to more systems than just the PS4 and Vita. This upcoming month it will arrive on the Nintendo Switch, and today it’s publisher Xseed let everyone know that it will also be launching on the PC alongside the Switch release.
The Switch and PC version of the game will launch on July 25th, though it’s worth noting that the PC version will be a little cheaper. The PC version will run you $50, while the Switch version will put you back an extra ten at $60. As an extra bonus for PC players, they can grab the game for 10% off during its launch week, meaning you can grab it on Steam for $45.
The Switch version has its own benefits though, because it includes 30 costumes that were initially DLC’s and an exclusive “Unshackled Bride” outfit. As it stands, we’re not even sure if the PC version will get them – though I am sure it will be a paid DLC in the future.
Fate/Extella was originally launched in Japan back in November 2016, and in North America in January 2017 for the PS4 and Vita. The Switch and PC version will feature English subtitles, but also still contain Japanese voices. Grab the game and fight on as one of the cast of “16 playable Servants–ancient warriors of legend and imagination, always at the beck and call of their Masters–who survived the Holy Grail War that took place on the Moon. In a future watched over by the all-powerful lunar super computer, Moon Cell Automaton, these champions now battle for dominance over this digital realm, known as SE.RA.PH.”
I personally just want to see Archer again, hands down favorite character.
