Zelda Breath of The Wild: Master Trials DLC

The first DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is making its way to your Nintendo Switch in a few hours. The Master Trials is ready to be launched on June 30th, and will be a nice addition to the game – especially for those gamers who need a  new speed run challenge.

The new DLC will be available for both the Wii U and Switch versions of the game. The new DLC adds quite a few things to the game, first of which is a harder difficulty mode which will allow for gamers to replay the game with a bit more pep in their step. There is also an item that allows you to create fast travel points, a system that tracks where you’ve been, some new outfits and more. But the biggest addition to the game is the Trial of the Sword, which a 45 room challenge that amps up the Master Sword’s strength.

This is the first of two DLC expansions for the latest Zelda game, the Champions’ Ballad pack being the second and will be coming out later this year. That expansion will include a new story, though it’s worth  noting that it isn’t sold separately from the Master Trial DLC. The packs come as a package, and is only available with the season pass for $20.
