Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds: Newest Patch
The popular survival game, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, is getting an upgrade to it’s gameplay in the immediate future. The update features two new weapons, and changes to loot spawns.
The newest addition to the game is the Groza, which is a 7.62 mm bullpup that will have both stopping power and stability for those short to mid range shoot outs. The gun will only be found within care packages, which drop down into the game via parachute. The introduction of the Groza hallmarks the end of the VSS as a regular care package drop, a sniper rifle that was added last month. For those who actually enjoyed the weapon fear not, it will still show up as a random drop in the game. Another weapon added into the random spawn bin is the P18C, a fully automatic pistol. Though whether it will have any good stopping power remains to proven.
The biggest change is coming to the spawn rate of weapons and armor. Some of your favorite weapons are being dropped in frequency, while others are being raised to compensate. The same can be said for helmets and body armor. The difference in frequency will likely change people’s style of play, though whether or not this will shake up people’s survival skills remains to be seen.
This marks the fourth update to the Battlegrounds game since its Early Access launch, with two more months being left before the game’s full release. The game has hit amazing popularity amongst gamers everywhere, having already sold upwards of 4 million copies. That said, if you haven’t already, make sure to go check out your game.
