Microsoft: Showcasing A Lot of E3 Games

My favorite time of year has arrived, and while E3 has taken a lot of negative reviews over the years I always love seeing the upcoming games for the year. That said, Microsoft had a heck of a showing and here is more than a few of the upcoming titles.

Forza Motorsport 7
A game that doesn’t need much of an introduction, Forza Motorsport 7 is coming to the table this upcoming October 3rd for Xbox One and Windows PC, while it will come to Xbox One X this Holiday 2017. It seems to be just like any other racing game in the title, though it can run at a native 4k resolution.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins
Well the rumors have been more than just confirmed with this new gameplay trailer released for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game. The game, Assassin’s Creed Origin, will take place in ancient egypt and will be released on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 this October 17th. While I can admit personally I’m slightly tired of the ongoing series, as it often feels like a rinse, wash, and repeat, I can say that there are a few things worth noting in the gameplay trailer. The first of which is the ability to see through the eyes of your eagle, and giving a whole new meaning to “eagle vision”.

Whether I’ll get the title itself remains to be seen.

Metro Exodus
I’ll be the first to admit that Metro Exodus, the next in the Metro series, looks beautiful and utterly heart stopping. The game, which will be coming out on Xbox One X, had my heart pumping already for the protagonist within and had me worried about playing it when it lands. For I will be playing it – in the light of day where I can try and be less afraid and jumpy.

The game has yet to be confirmed for any other platforms, but hopefully that will change soon.

State of Decay 2
The new trailer for State of Decay 2 doesn’t really fill me with any sort of excitement for the upcoming title, and it doesn’t indicate how it will be different from the original. That said, it will likely be a fun survival game to play in your free time. After all, out surviving and outsmarting the zombie horde is always a fun way to spend a Sunday evening.

The Last Night
The upcoming indie title, The Last Night, still has little to no information available about it, however – it looks beautiful in it’s own right. The trailer looks like you’ve stepped foot into a steampunk movie, and truly feels as if the game will have a riveting story to go through and have gamers gushing about it to their friends.

Don’t believe me? Check it out yourself.

Life is Strange: Before The Storm
I will admit that I was a little disappointed to realize that the upcoming Life is Strange game would be a prequel instead of the upcoming sequel to the fun story driven game. While I am still going to play it, I as the three part prequel is sure to be fun, I can’t help but wait for the sequel with more anticipation. Set to release on August 31st the game looks like a more in-depth look into Chloe’s life before Max’s return to Blackfield.

Deep Rock Galactic
A simple looking game, Deep Rock Galactic looks like Helldivers without the annoying top down perspective that the game made you fiddle with. That said, the game looks like a first person shoot em up – with your friends right beside you.

The upcoming multiplayer game, Anthem, seems to be a beautiful open world explorer brought to us by the developers at BioWare. It looks downright stunning, and if the gameplay trailer is an accurate depiction and not just a hype showing of what’s to come it is sure to attract more than a few gamers to its shores.
