Mega Man Legacy Collection 2
To those of you who enjoyed playing, and losing, at Mega man games over the years – here comes a gift for you. Capcom has just announced that it will be dropping Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 this August on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The collection will allow us to play Mega Man 7, 8, 9 and 10 to our hearts leisure.
For me this often means losing at the game.
Capcom has stated that this collection “spans the evolution–and retro revolution–of the classic side-scrolling series”. While the first Mega Man Legacy Collection concentrated on the when the game was played in 8-bit, this collection of games will make a jump up to 16 and 32 bits of gameplay. Admittedly in comparison to how we play games now it feels lacking, but it still keeps the sense of nostalgia that we all look for in collections such as these.
For those of us who sucked at the previous versions of the game, much like myself, a new function has been added into the game to make our time easier. It’s an extra armor feature, which halves all the damage done to you as you fight the enemies throughout the world. The game will also make checkpoints prevalent, this is done to ensure that we can pick up wherever we left off during our last jaunt into this classic game.
The Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will drop this August 8th and will only run an easy $20 for those looking to pick it up.
