Breath of The Wild: Going 2D

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game that has reached critical mass in terms of popularity, and needs no introduction to gamers anywhere. The current version out is a beauty to behold, and an open world masterpiece that has definitely hit success in the market place.

That said, let’s see if a Fan 2D version of the game will have the same type of success.

Breath of the NES is currently a free game on the Windows PC that is given inspiration from The original Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild 2D prototype. The demo of which can be found on, brought to us by designer Winterdrake, waiting to be tested out by the masses.

If we are judging by the trailer above, the game looks pretty good for a 2D remake and will likely be a fun one to try out. Now it’s just a matter of how long it will take for Nintendo to shut it down and ruin the fun.
