Zelda Breath of The Wild: Running On Your Computer With 4k Graphics
The common way to run Zelda: Breath of the Wild is either on your Nintendo Switch or Wii U at either 720p or 900p. The resolutions for the Nintendo Switch depends on whether or not your system is docked. However it seems like gamers aren’t content with the way things are being run, decided that they needed to play the game with a much higher resolution. That said, an update has hit the Wii U emulator CEMU, which is allowing for a much higher level of graphic play.
If your computer doesn’t explode from the effort of running it.
As you can see above, the game looks darn pretty with the graphics at this level. Though I tend to wonder if it removes some of the cartoonish feeling that the game has at a lower resolution. That said, in the youtube clips description lays a breakdown of the youtubers computer specs – for those of you curious on what it takes to run the game.
- i7 6700k overclocked to 4.3ghz
- Nvidia 1070 class card
- Corsair h110i AIO
- 16GB of GSkill Ripjaws RAM overclocked to 2400 MHz
For those of you having problems with framerates during your gameage as well, a subreddit has opened up as well that is dedicated to solving the issue. However, it is important to note that playing the game this way has some legality issues written all over it. That said, if you do end up playing the game – tell us how it goes.
