Hearthstone: Journey to Un’Goro Finally Launches Next Week

To those lovers of Hearthstone, here comes a new edition to the game in the form of Journey to Un’Goro. It’s the fifth expansion of the game, and Blizzard has revealed a host of new cards – 135 to be exact – to go along with the expansion that arrives April 6th.

With new cards comes new game mechanics due, some of which are sure to become game favorites. One such mechanic is “quest cards”, wherein if you follow through on certain challenges within the game you’ll get a helpful card in your hand to help you slam your opponent. For example, one quest brings you Amara, The Warden of Hope. This character is a five-mana minion that has both eight health, and eight attack. The draw of this character though is that it resets your health to 40 once played. Which could be a huge boon in a drawn out fight.

The new year will bring back cards from a host of different era’s, ranging from The grand Tournament, Blackrock Mountain, and the League of Explorers. A host of cards from these selections will make their way through standard mode, so keep your eyes peeled for them. Also some of your more popular cards will be removed from gameplay, so be prepared to say goodbye to some old classics.
