Secret of Mana: Coming to The Nintendo Switch This June
Old games are being brought back to life these days by the Nintendo Switch. A few weeks ago Nintendo announced it would be bringing back old NeoGeo games like Blaster Master Zero. This week? Well in comes Secret of Mana. On the bright side they are Secret of Mana games that probably weren’t played by a majority of gamers due to Japan keeping the game for themselves. Funnily enough, the bundle will be first released in Japan this June, with no other release dates having been confirmed as of yet.
We’ve really been getting boned for years on Video Games haven’t we?
Square Enix is dropping the first three titles ever in the Seiken Densetsu franchise – or as we know it the Secret of Mana series – for all our Nintendo Switch fun. The package includes three titles: Final Fantasy Adventure – originally known as Seiken Densetsu, Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densetsu 3 – the last of which never made it outside of Japan. The collection releases June 1 in Japan, and will only cost 4,800 yen.
The game will feature a quick save option that wasn’t present in the first game. It also seems to want you to embrace the good tunes that the game has to offer, as it features a music mode that allows for Switch users to listen to the game’s soundtrack on their home screens.
Let us know in the comments on whether you’ll be picking up this title. Not only that, on what you think of Nintendo’s tactic of bringing back old games – as opposed to finding and creating tons of new ones.
