Overwatch: Orisa Lands In The Game Officially – Just Not in Competitive Play
The newest hero in Overwatch, Orisa, has finally gone live in all versions of the game just yesterday. However to those of you trying to use her in competitive mode, and not finding her anywhere on the screen, she isn’t going to be there quite yet.
Blizzard’s Scott Mercer had this to say on the slight confusion:
“When patch 1.9 releases tomorrow, Orisa will not initially be avaliable for Competitive play. We want to give players some time to learn about and play Orisa before she’s placed into the crucible of Competitive Play.
She’ll still be immediately avalible in Quick Play, the Arcade (including custom games with the competitive ruleset), and Play vs AI.”
That said, bunker down and get to know if Orisa is for you gamers, as you have a serious chance to practice with her and learning her draw backs before she starts tearing things up on competitive play.
Let us know in the comments on whether or not you’re eager to try Orisa in Overwatch, or better yet how you found her after a few matches.
