Nintendo Switch: New Additions To The Gaming Lineup

Admittedly, the Nintendo Switch launched with a rather pitiful lineup. If we avoid the obvious blockbuster hit that The Legend of Zelda will always be, for me and for many, their system is rather sparse currently. That said, Nintendo has graced us with an eShop update to hopefully tide gamers over until more exciting titles, in my opinion at least, land on their shores.

Eight additional titles have made their way up onto the shop, and here they are for your gaming knowledge.

  • Blaster Master Zero
  • The King of Fighters 98′
  • Waku Waku 7
  • Metal Slug 3
  • Shock Troopers
  • World Heroes Perfect
  • Nam-1975
  • VOEZ

All of the above games, besides VOEZ, are just really old titles being brought back to life on the Switch. It will leave you in a well of nostalgia that, while not necessarily bad and even enjoyable I’m sure, makes you long for newer titles. However all the old school games only cost a whopping $7.99 for your playing pleasure, and will stop you from forgetting you Switch exists until a hot new title arrives at its doorstep.

VOEZ on the other hand goes in the opposite direction of the old school games, and is a fun little rhythm game that many might develop an addiction to. If my memory of my Rockband days, or DDR tournaments are anything to go off of. The game, which is slightly more costly, comes in at $25 dollars on the eShop and will definitely keep your fingers spry in your attempts to keep up with the rhythm.

In any case, I’m sure more games will be coming soon. We will be sure to keep an eye out for you guys.
