Celeste: New Game Created By Towerfall Developers
It’s rare that I look at a game and think to myself, “O that looks really hard”, but take a look at the trailer down below and tell me this indie game doesn’t look like it will be trial and error.
The above game’s name is Celeste, and as you can see, it’s a hardcore climbing platformer that looks rather unforgiving. It was developed by the individuals who created Towerfall, and has been announced as a game for the Nintendo Switch.
While simple in design, the levels are hardly a walk through a park. Each one will have players stringing together a litany of abilities, and precision, to properly navigate to the top of the hill. That said, there are apparently more than 250 stages for us to make our way through – so don’t think you’ll have it done anytime soon.
Though knowing the gaming world as I do, I’m sure will have a speed run of the whole game within a weeks time.
The upcoming title is scheduled to be released sometime during 2017, and will also be making it’s way to the PS4 and PC, on top of the Nintendo Switch.
Let us know in the comment’s about what you think of the upcoming title, and whether you will be traversing its rather difficult levels.
