Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is on Play Anywhere for Xbox Users
Resident Evil 7, the newest entry into the series by Capcom, is now apart of the Xbox Play anywhere experience. That’s great news for Xbox gamers, or PC owners everywhere. As Play Anywhere, for those of you unaware, allows you to play your game purchase on either console with just one purchase of the game.
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, just recently announced the news via twitter:

Resident Evil 7 is the first, in what I’m sure will be many, major game that has managed to sneak onto the Xbox Play Anywhere project that wasn’t directly made by Microsoft.
As a game apart of the new Xbox Play Anywhere initiative, players will be able to synch their game progress, and all down loadable content purchases or in game unlocks, to one online cloud. This way gamers can have access to their game from either their Xbox One or PC. However it’s important to note that this only applies to digital purchases made on these consoles, and these consoles only, as buying Resident Evil 7 on steam will not give you access to it on your Xbox One.
Resident Evil 7, releases this January and will likely be a resounding success for horror game lovers everywhere.
